Fluid Art (also known as 'paint pouring art') is created from applying acrylic paints and various pouring mediums to stretched canvases by pouring the paint onto the canvas. Several techniques are then applied to the paint to create the wonderful, mesmerising effects you see. Although the process sounds simple, to create some of the amazing effects I have on offer takes time, experience and a lot of patience.

The pictures on the site cannot show the full colour appreciation of this art nor the depth and texture that is produced - they look so much better in real life! The colours really begin to pop when a thick resin coat or clear spray varnish is applied - yet another simple technique but very hard to produce top class results. I have a selection of different canvas sizes and shapes with something to suit everyone's tastes. The great thing about this abstract art is that it can mostly be displayed any way up, just rotate the canvas to see a different aspect. (I sign each piece of art on the back). I attend local shows in and around Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire to exhibit my works of art. Please click the 'Events' link to find out more.
